Headlight Collection

Automotive headlight units collected for recycling

Bulk collection of damaged, used and surplus light units from garages and bodyshops — with dedicated headlight bins to keep your storage areas clear.

Headlights are awkward waste: bulky, fragile, and a mix of materials — polycarbonate lenses, plastic housings, wiring, bulbs and electronic modules — that makes them unsuitable for a general plastics bin and worse for a skip. They also accumulate fast in any shop doing front-end repairs.

How the service works

Buying, not just collecting

One more thing worth knowing: if you're holding unused, boxed headlights — ordered for a job that changed, past their return window — those aren't waste. We buy unused genuine OEM stock through our redundant stock purchase service, so check the shelf before the bin.

FAQ

Do you take broken or water-damaged headlights? Yes — damaged, used and surplus units are all collected, in bulk, regardless of condition.

Why do headlights need their own bin? They're a mix of polycarbonate, plastics, wiring and electronics. Keeping them separate protects the quality of your other recycling streams and lets each material be processed correctly.

Can headlight collection happen alongside our bumper collection? Yes — one van, one visit, one eWTN covering the lot.

What about brand-new headlights we never fitted? Don't bin them — we buy unused genuine units. Send a photo via our contact page and we'll make an offer within 24 hours.
