Hard and soft plastics

Mixed hard automotive plastics awaiting collection

One scheduled pickup for every plastic your workshop removes — hard and soft, from wheel arch liners to trims — across Scotland and the North of England.

Bumpers get the attention, but they're rarely alone: side skirts, wheel arch liners, grilles, trims and panel plastics pile up alongside them, and none of it belongs in a general skip. Automotive plastic from a workshop is controlled waste, which means it needs an authorised carrier, a transfer note and a lawful destination. We provide all three in one visit.

What we collect

Everything travels on the same van as your bumpers, headlights and alloy wheels, so one schedule covers every stream.

How the service works

Where your plastics end up

At our Hamilton facility, collected plastics are stripped of unwanted components by hand — metals, fixings, foams — then granulated into polypropylene regrind and supplied back to plastics manufacturing. Nothing to landfill, and a clean audit trail from your yard to the granulator.

FAQ

Can automotive plastics go in a normal commercial skip? No — workshop plastics are controlled waste and must be transferred to a registered carrier with a waste transfer note. That's exactly what our service provides.

Do you take mixed or dirty plastics? Yes. We collect regardless of condition; our operatives sort and prepare the material before granulation.

How do we store plastics between collections? We supply bins, cages and bumper racking to our collection clients so each stream stays separated and tidy.

Which areas do you cover? All of Scotland and England down to Carlisle, Penrith and Newcastle.
